Systems Engineer Job Description

Job Summary

As a Systems Engineer, you will work on the development, prototype, and functional testing of automated equipment used in high volume production environments, as well as provide real-time hardware development testing in mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the engineering team on new product serviceability improvements and customer special requirements (CSR).
• Analyze customer requirements and develop system requirements based on those, ensuring full traceability for hardware and software definitions.
• Utilize system architecture provided by the core team to verify that the system requirements are met.
• Work with digital and analog circuit design, sensors, and electronics instrumentation.
• Implement camera systems, light sources, digital image processing algorithms, and deep learning methods.
• Define mechanical and hardware/software interface specifications and generate detailed reports.
• Perform customer gaging tests for reliability and reproducibility of new products.
• Provide expertise in troubleshooting and repairing during project processing, and assist in failure analysis and corrective actions throughout the product lifecycle.
• Document system details and production processes for front-end support teams.
